THAI SECOM Reaffirms Its Role as an Organization of Opportunity, Receiving the Excellent Disability Support Organization Award for the 9th Consecutive Year

Bangkok, August 31, 2026 — Thai Secom Security Co., Ltd. (SECOM) reinforces its commitment to conducting business alongside creating social value after receiving the “Excellent Disability Support Organization Award for 2026” for the ninth consecutive year. The recognition was presented at the Job and Market Fair 2026, held at the Chaengwattana Government Complex (Ratthaprasasanabhakdi Building). Ms. Sondhya Boonyaphoosita, Director-General of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, presided over the ceremony and presented the honorary plaque to Mr. Takuya Mashiko, Head of Administration Group and Director of Thai Secom Security Co., Ltd. who represented the company to receive the award.

Receiving the “Excellent Disability Support Organization” award for nine consecutive years reflects SECOM’s policy and operational framework, which prioritizes creating opportunities and equality in society. The company believes that promoting persons with disabilities should not merely be a matter of legal compliance, but rather an initiative to open spaces where individuals can fully utilize their capabilities and potential, while contributing value to both the organization and society.

Currently, SECOM supports the employment of persons with disabilities under Section 35, totaling 21 positions. This includes 6 operational support roles and 15 positions dedicated to sports excellence, particularly supporting the Thailand National Wheelchair Basketball Team. This initiative aims to foster potential development, provide platforms to showcase talent, and enable athletes to compete at both national and international levels.

This approach reflects SECOM’s core belief that “physical limitations should never restrict talent,” and that everyone deserves equal opportunities to demonstrate their full potential. Providing support in both employment and sports goes beyond generating income or securing careers; it creates a dedicated space for individuals with disabilities to develop themselves, build pride, and participate in society to their fullest capacity.

These actions align with Sustainable Development Goals under the ESG framework, particularly the Social (S) dimension, by promoting employment, skill development, and equal participation in the economic and social systems. This mirrors an Inclusive Workplace and Social Impact strategy that moves beyond basic CSR activities to build Shared Value for employees, communities, and society, while fostering a strong organization capable of sustainable long-term growth.

Looking ahead, SECOM remains committed to advancing opportunities and equality, grounded in the belief that “sustainable safety begins with a society where everyone has an opportunity.” This mindset reflects the company’s business philosophy: driving growth while creating shared value alongside employees, customers, partners, communities, and society to help build an inclusive, sustainably growing future together.
