Announcement Subject: Transition from Paper-Based Contract to Full Digital Signature System

Dear Valued Customers,

To enhance business operations, embrace the digital era, and improve operational efficiency, Thai Secom Security (the Company) hereby announces the transition from paper-based contract signing to the full implementation of a Digital Signature system, effective March 1st, 2026.

Digital Signature is a form of electronic signature that employs encryption technology to ensure the security of signatory authentication and to verify the integrity of electronic documents, confirming that no alterations or modifications have been made after signing. It is considered more reliable than a general electronic signature (e-Signature) because it utilizes digital certificates and a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) system to authenticate the identity of the signer and prevent forgery. This makes it particularly suitable for important documents.

Digital Signature: A Secure Future for Organizations

  • Maximum Reliability: Utilizes advanced encryption technology to verify the identity of signatories and ensure the integrity of documents, providing strong protection against forgery.
  • Legal Recognition: Holds the same legal validity as handwritten signatures under the Electronic Transactions Act.
  • Speed and Agility: Enables signing anytime, anywhere, significantly shortening approval cycles.
  • Resource Efficiency: Reduces costs associated with paper, printing, and storage.
  • Cloud-Based Document Management: Thai Secom Security stores documents securely via cloud storage, allowing clients to download and retain files on their electronic devices.
  • Environmental Impact Reduction: Excessive paper use contributes to deforestation, water pollution, the destruction of natural ecosystems, and greenhouse gas emissions. Reducing paper consumption helps mitigate these impacts and further reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

The Company will adopt the Digital Signature system as the primary method for contract execution. However, should any customers have limitations in using this system, they may inform the Company, and alternative arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We therefore cordially invite everyone to embrace the transition to the Digital Signature system as an important step toward excellence in the digital era and as a collective effort to help combat global warming, paving the way for a more sustainable future together.

This announcement is hereby officially issued for general information.
